Document Production Process (Six-Step Workflow)

This website is used to centrally manage and display NPI (New Product Introduction) related documents. All content is completed according to the following six steps to ensure accurate information, clear responsibilities, and compliant publishing.

1. Intent

Participating Roles: Leader + Producer

Leader Responsibilities: - Clarify the goals, scope, and target audience for this NPI document - Confirm the key stages and core information that need to be covered - Decide whether the document enters the production process

Producer Responsibilities: - Understand the goals and expectations proposed by the leader - Transform intentions into executable document structure directions

2. Collect Materials

Participating Roles: Leader + Producer

Leader Responsibilities: - Provide or confirm authoritative sources of materials - Ensure material content is accurate, up-to-date, and suitable for public use - Identify content that requires emphasis or confidentiality

Producer Responsibilities: - Compile and organize materials provided by the leader - Mark source and version information of materials - Identify missing materials and report to the leader

3. Draft

Participating Roles: Producer

Producer Responsibilities: - Draft the initial version of document content based on confirmed materials - Transform information into clear, readable web copy - Maintain consistency in technical descriptions and process explanations

4. Organize

Participating Roles: Producer

Producer Responsibilities: - Structurally organize document content - Define chapter hierarchy, logical sequence, and page layout - Ensure the document is suitable for long-term maintenance and reference on the web

5. Review

Participating Roles: Leader + Producer

Leader Responsibilities: - Review the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of content - Confirm whether the document meets NPI management requirements - Provide revision suggestions or publication confirmation

Producer Responsibilities: - Revise according to review comments - Ensure all revisions are correctly implemented

6. Publish

Participating Roles: Producer

Producer Responsibilities: - Publish the final confirmed content to the document website - Ensure clear page versions and accessibility - Mark publication time and maintenance responsibility attribution
